3 or 5 piece table has ornament with central heart; 3-piece back with each piece outlined in purfling (separate boxes above and below fold), both with double purfling. Back decoration of diamond patterns at bottom and below fold very similar to BAINE 5 (= Pitts, 1675), but central design different. Tall shoulders, neck fairly narrow, graft between neck and pegbox. Tailgut and endpin; bridge by W.L. Monical (feet of this or other bridges have been 4-5 mm higher and lower).
