On museum’s website (FB+S, head side)
Repaired in 1963 by E. Vatelot (Gétreau 1996, p. 462). 2-piece back (NB, not striped) with double purfling. 2 pegs treble, 3 bass side. Website gives BL as 62.0 (vs. TL 60.5!); more likely 32.0, or at least between 32-33. (T. Bingham’s 1747 Guersan has same 3 widths but length of 32.9.) Website: “quinton de viole”, formerly pardessus; “attribution incertaine”.
