Roosen 2001, pp. 37-38 (FB+S, head 3/4; all color); Vannes 1956, pl. 77 (front 7/8)]

Martius & Schulze 1991 dimensions 114.0, 64.9, 31.6/24.1/38.0, 11.5, 67.3; some of their info from T. Drescher; Zuschreibung [an Ernst Busch]...sehr zweifelhaft (body & soundhole shapes atypical). Roosen 2001 adds: 2-piece table with high arching and single purfling; 2-piece, slab-cut back with painted purfling including ornament at top; overhanging edges. Neck, fingerboard, tailpiece and pegs not original, likewise probably the lion head. Top block not original; 3 crossbars on back, soundpost patch on table; repaired cracks on ribs and back. Tailgut; no frets. Serious worm damage to back and head; some cracks repaired but others open; repairs to bass-side bottom rib and nearby table. Soundholes and overall outline similar to Edlinger 1673 (Tokyo). Tourin's dimensions: 64.9, 31.6/24.1/38.1, 11.5, 67.3?
