Herzog 2003, IT-30; Sachs 1922, col. 142; Snoeck 1894, p. 105
Herzog 2002, p. 155 (front 3/4); Sachs 1922, Tafel 16 (front 7/8); Lütgendorff 1922, 1:39; Snoeck 1894, facing p. 105 (front)
Sachs: converted from a lira da gamba; neck not original. Table with ridges extending inward from all four corners (Herzog’s “El Greco” style), plus a rosette; flat back with fold; double purfling on table and back (including back ornament); fluted external linings (moldings) on ribs. Not in Tourin’s BERA group (listed in Sachs with cellos). Not in Otto & Adelmann 1975; probably lost in World War II.
