Kuronen: 5-piece table with double purfling (also on back). According to Casadesus, made by “Juan”, in collection of M. Haed, London; dimensions 69.4, 30.5/21.9/38.1, 13.3, 64.5 Zuchowicz (on data sheet): neck not original but old, probably French 18th C.; fingerboard and tailpiece not original (nor is hookbar, per Tourin also on data sheet). TGM: 7-piece table with high arching; neck barely long enough for 7 frets and grafted to pegbox, which seems post-18C in style; blond pegs with large heads (numbered 1-7 in pencil!). Fingerboard and tailpiece of solid ebony with diagonal ends; unmarked bridge looks very clean and new (as do top and bottom blocks) and placed below middle of C-holes. Multiple cracks and open joints when seen; back widths 30.4/21.9/38.0, rib depth at C-bouts 12.6.
