Striped back and ribs. Original fingerboard and tailpiece with decorative purfling. Photo on museum’s website shows only 4 pegs (in positions for 1, 2, 4, and 6); no tailpiece, but blond fingerboard has English-style geometric decoration. Vannes: only known instrument by this maker; rest of surname is illegible. (Tourin gave maker’s [sur-]name as Charle.)
