On museum’s website (front [color])

Moens 2004 (citing oral communication from Peter Klein, Hamburg): dendrochronology suggests table made from a tree not cut down until after 1875; wood from same tree used for nos. 1417-20 and 1422. Tourin: carved bass bar directly under bridge foot. Museum’s website: “viole bâtarde, auteur inconnu”. Mahillon: viole bâtarde, label “Zanetto [sic?] fece in Treviso”; table with double purfling.
