2-piece table, 2-piece back, both with BWB purfling. Neck fastened with nail through top block; no frets when seen. Pegbox has open back, plain sides; plugged 6th hole at top, probably not original; 2 pegs treble, 3 bass side. Hookbar has sculpted top with ivory button. Violin-style bridge with string spacings too narrow for current fingerboard; but FB is much wider than neck heel. Soundpost plate thick and positioned very low; soundpost currently placed directly on back, above plate. No other crossbars, and no linings (but cleats instead, also along back center joint) or corner blocks (just cloth). Small bass bar. Varnish worn off neck from playing (but not above 3rd position). Very good condition apart from a few unrepaired cracks in table and back, and unglued joint between back and rib at treble C-bout. Drescher: old neck heel but newer neck, crudely made, not recently.
