Measurements by W. L. Monical. Converted to a cello (Monical thinks in S. Germany, late 18C); in only fair condition, repeatedly repaired and altered. 2-piece table, medium-flat arching; 2-piece back with slight fold; rib depth 12.7 at center bouts. Present neck not set into table; no clear evidence of a former hookbar. Repair label: “Repaired by / Jos. F. Racker & Son / Violin Makers and Repairers / Columbus, O. 1947”.
