On museum’s website (FB+S, head side; front 7/8, head side [color]); [by TGM: head B+S, label (color)]
Museum lists as quinton. 3 pegs treble, 2 bass side. On display 8/02: shallow ribs, arched back, and tailgut (no frets); really a hybrid. Visit 8/11: 1-piece table, 2-piece back, both with inked purfling and clear fluting at edges, which overhang the ribs. Neck set straight to body, with wedged fingerboard; integral with pegbox and head, so all probably original; head has raised loop of hair. String length reflects bridge placement 2/3 down soundholes. No back bars at all, and no frets (or marks on neck from former frets).
