Otto & Adelmann 1975, p. 118

Berlin 1988, p. 75 (front); [by TGM 11/10, on display: head front, rosette, label (color)]

Neck and pegbox are cello-style; these and all fittings are non-original. Rosette; head with Tyrolean cap probably original; striped fingerboard and tailpiece, “entsprechend der Vorliebe des Vorbesitzers”. Seen but not measured by TGM 11/10; back very plain, with flame rising from center joint. Dendrochronology by Peter Klein gives latest year ring as 1711 (pers. comm. from A. Otterstedt)
