TGM visit to L. Larson 1/94
On Wikimedia.org (front 3/4 [color]); [unpublished, from museum: FB+S, head 3/4]; [by TGM: FB+S, head FB+S]
Striped back & ribs. 2 pegs treble, 3 bass side. Repair labels: “Peter Tourin / Tourin Musica / 19 Duxbury, Vermont 84 / Restored” [printed except “Restored”]; “Donald Warnock / Luthier, 1984 / Repairs to surfaces, / retouching, overvarnish” [handwritten]. Possibly the same as Jacquot 1900, no. 95 (which he calls a quinton, but his Fig. 6 proves is a pardessus), then owned by him; but that one is perhaps more likely to be the 1762 sold at Vichy-Enchères in 12/2013.
