Lichtenwanger 1974, p. 55; St. Louis Post-Dispatch, 5/[11?]/65

St. Louis Post-Dispatch, 5/[11?]/65 (side 3/4); [by TGM: FB+S, head F+S, details of bridge, neck heel, patent pegs]

Sympathetic strings. 12 pegs numbered in 1 series; metal screw-tighteners at small end of all, with washers and leather pads. Deep ribs; neck & setup probably later. Neck heel much narrower than rib shoulders. Tourin & Pringle both think it’s German (from photos). Playable in early 1970s, not in 4/93.
