Bridge by Wurlitzer. Tourin: modern neck. Maker identification confirmed by Hellwig on visit to Yale. Otterstedt only saw photos; appears to have been much altered (made smaller). 2-piece back and ribs probably birch; her dimensions 91.5, -. -/-/30.0, 10.2, 51.2. One of only three Karpp viols with C-holes (with one other tenor and one bass). Black-and-white fingerboard and tailpiece, former with all-black extension. Tailgut.
