Squarish shoulders; 1-piece back; carved back of pegbox; 2 pegs treble, 3 bass side. Restored in 1953 by Günther Hellwig (dimensions from his report: 33.5, 16.6/11.6/20.3, -, 31.5; SL = sum of neck and table mensur, should be slightly longer). Lower ribs had previously been cut down for playing on arm, otherwise in completely original condition. New hookbar, bridge, and soundpost.
