König 1985, p. 112 (front 7/8); Hammerich 1911, p. 86 (front); Hammerich 1909, p. 71 (front)

Scroll has flat side surfaces (no ears). Tourin: neck and pegbox probably not original; in very poor condition. 2-piece table with single purfling, 1-piece back with none. French? Hammerich: “Diskant-Viola,” but gives high G tuning; “aus Flandern, 17-18 Jh.”. König: definitely a pardessus (SL 29.5); more likely made in Paris or Mirecourt.
