Finckh 2013 (front 3/4 [color]); [unpublished, from www.reichlin-geigenbau.ch, 8/07 (FB+S, head 3/4); unpublished, from K. Martius 6/06: F+B]

Finckh 2013

Had been converted to a cello. Neck and all fittings inside and out are new. 2-piece table with painted purfling (very near edge) and very high arching; 1-piece back and ribs of walnut. French-style neck with open-carved pegbox; head old but probably not original to this instrument. Repair inscription on upper bass rib: “Malotte [?] / 20.5.35 [?]”
