Arched back, ebony and ivory edging to table. All 12 pegs face front (some original, of bone; others replacements, of ivory; the lower 10 “completed with Gilbert-Patenschaft”). Written on underside of table, in lower bout area: Charles Hautstont / 1898 / Bruxelles. Restored by Horst Weller, Duisburg, 1955; by Alfred Lessing, Düsseldorf, 1991.
