Comments:
7-piece table (really 3 plus 4 wings) with floral ornament and double purfling, fairly high arching. 3-piece back with diamond patterns at top, middle, and bottom (middle pattern closely matches the 1675 Pitts); single purfling around edge and between sections, plus a V in bas-relief at neck heel. Lower 2 sections of ribs not original. In 2001, had relatively narrow and rounded neck with very clear graft to pegbox, open scroll, long fingerboard covering the belly ornament, and tailpiece with wavy edges; 2017 photos show replacements for all those components (so string length likely now different), except pegbox is original, per e-mail from J. Topham forwarded by new owner.
