[By TGM: FB+S, head side, neck heel]

ASAI calls it a “viola pomposa”. Overhanging edges. “Repaired by / Janos Bodar / 1971”; feels very heavy. Neck narrow for 5 strings: I and V at very edges of fingerboard; but pegbox more than large enough for 5 pegs, even though these are very large (3 treble, 2 bass side; only 4 holes bushed); no obvious graft between neck and pegbox. 3-shaped soundholes face inward.
