Heavily restored but still in poor condition, including worm damage. Table cut down from larger instrument. New neck. YALE UNIVERSITY scratched on back near shoulders. Not set up when seen; SL from files. Museum’s website: “made by an unknown maker in Southern Germany, about 1730”; rough workmanship, no purfling.
