Inlaid fingerboard (ivory on tortoiseshell veneer); ivory tailpiece is 2 intertwined snakes, similar to no. 101. Pegs and bridge not original. Repair label: “Repariert von / Oswald Mockel / Berlin 1897” [printed except Repariert von, 97]. Dimensions 67.5, 30.6/22.4/37.5, 12.2, -. Hellwig 2011 adds: no purfling on back; open-carved pegbox. Back widths 30.9/23.1/39.4. Originally for 7 strings. FB+TP are reverse-color counterparts of TieWV 92
