Conclave 2004 Photos - The Bow-in

The bow-in is the first big event of Conclave. It's a great ice-breaker, and it's always an emotional moment hearing all those instruments playing at once. There's always a great reception afterwards, too!

The bow-in was held in the Warner Gymnasium. First problem: getting the music distributed.
Three observers. Margriet Tindemans
Brent helping us get tuned. Charlie Ogle getting a little practice in.
David Loeb introduces us to his piece for "viol orchestra". Preparing to play a piece by David Loeb.
The bass section working hard. More basses.
After the bow-in, a great ice cream reception.. The reception was a great opportunity to renew old acquaintances.
David Loeb and Kaori Hashizume. Enjoying the post bow-in ice cream.
