The Viola da Gamba Society 3rd Coast Annual Memorial Day Weekend Workshop Faculty Concert. William Byrd's 4-Part Mass & Music from Bach's The Art of the Fugue.
With Wendy Gillespie, David Morris, Mary Springfels, and Craig Trompeter.

Cost: $25, $15 students & seniors. Free for workshop participants.
Location: Nichols Concert Hall, The Music Institute of Chicago, 1490 Chicago Av., Evanston, IL.

The VdGS Third Coast Mission

The Viola da Gamba Society Third Coast is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to the support of activities relating to the viola da gamba in the Chicago area and surrounding region. We are a chapter of the Viola da Gamba Society of America. Our society is made up of passionate performers, enthusiasts, and advocates of the viol. In addition to sponsored play-ins, we hold an annual weekend workshop Memorial Day weekend at the Music Institute of Chicago with a distinguished faculty of internationally recognized performers and scholars.
